Imagine if Cranes and The Cure met in a dark alley. Ok, now imagine Fuschia and Kal3id meeting in Sunny Phoenix. Doesn't quite paint the same picture but the sound remains the same. Their debut CD, Abstracted Visions will appeal to fans of both bands as well as Cocteau Twins and Curve. Frontwoman Fuschia has been a core member of the Aural Bliss chatroom lately, so make sure to stop in and meet her!

 Ok, now imagine if Curve and Collide collaborated over the internet. That is the case here, as kaRIN and Statik of Collide met Curve's Dean Garcia through cyberspace. A guest vocal became a whole side project, culminating in the release of Ultrashiver, a must for fans of both bands and Bliss-rock itself. kaRIN and Statik joined us last week in the Aural Bliss chatroom, a real treat for their fans and our loyal listeners.

We're not used to hearing gloomy, brooding music out of Swedes, but The Mary Onettes are right up our alley. Combining the 80's Darkwave sounds of Echo and the Bunnymen and Jesus and Mary Chain with the Post-Rock sounds of newer bands like Bell Hollow and Film School, their self-titled debut, already contains 3 of our favorite tracks of the year. Look for this one in our year end lists!

Already one of our favorite female vocalists, Jes has delivered her best material yet. On the new release, Into the Dawn she provides chillout mixes of some of her previous material released on her solo CD Disconnect, vocal collaborations with Motorcycle and Solarstone and even some brand new cuts. Jes made her third appearance in the Aural Bliss chatroom last Sunday. Are you getting the point yet?

A Bliss mainstay, Ryan and Rebecca have just released more new music for us to enjoy. They have followed up their Albatross EP with Sawtooth EP. The new release is available digitally through iTunes and all other digital retailers. Ryan and Rebecca have twice hosted Yourgasms on Auralgasms Radio and joined us in the chatroom.

The Genre-busting Alison Goldfrapp follows up the glittery glam of Supernature with a warm, ethereal approach on her 4th release Seventh Tree. The record features a handful of poppier tracks (A&E, Happiness, Caravan Girl), some sensuous ambience (Cologne Cerrone Houdini, Some People) and beautiful ballads (Clowns, Little Bird).
