    ... I can't get enough of the track Across The Wire!! Excellent tune.

    .... Doe's anybody know if and when The Soundings will be domestically released in the U.S.?? I was thinking about ordering the import.... but don't wanna do it if the domestic version is coming out soon.

    Haven't seen a domestic release date.

    But for now, at least Across the Wire is avail. domestically on the Auralgasms compilation Cd, Bliss of Life!

    Ok, I talked to them re: a domestic release date.

    One label has shown some interest - Filter - we need people to bombard them to convince them they should sign the album - the email address is miller@filtermmm.com

    In other news, they have provided me with a video for Across the Wire.

    It is in quicktime format, so you do need to have that installed. The link is currently on the homepage under the Full Audio and Video Downloads heading.

    The Soundings

    Blue States honed their chillout groove over their first two records in the tradition of bands like Zero 7 and Thievery Corporation. On their 3rd CD, The Soundings, the addition of Chris Carr’s vocals has been quite a metamorphosis. Their new sound is still laid back, but influenced by bands like Joy Division, The Stone Roses, and The Cure. Across the Wire is the obvious standout track.
