I believe Bel Canto's 2nd, 3rd, & 4th albums are their best; however, their 1st and 5th albums have some gems too. Absolutely beautiful music.

Not too shabby!

Check out their latest album, Dorothy's Victory. There are some really nice songs on it. Also, check out the solo album from Anneli Drecker. I'm really enjoying All I Know. Anneli can also be found on the latest A-Ha album.

She has an angelic voice. Unfortunately, her voice is often better than the actual songs. She would do really well with Delerium. I'd love to see that collaboration.

Bel Canto has always had the potential to be one of the greatest dreampop bands ever. With albums such as "Birds Of Passage", "Shimmering Warm & Bright" and their latest, "Dorothy's Victory", they are well on their way. The only problem is that they have released some albums in between that fell kind of flat. The good part is that they keep on going with no discouragement and more than half the time really hit the mark.

I really enjoy them. The lead singer, Anneli Drecker, has an amazing voice. They manage to put 2-3 gems on each album. My favorite CD is Shimmering, Warm & Bright. The song, Shoulder To The Wheel is one of my all time favorite. Their latest release, Dorothy's Victory, is a little bit more Pop sounding - but, it still has some songs worth listening to. If you like Bel Canto, I recommend checking out some of the solo material from Anneli. She is also a guest vocalist on the new A-Ha cd.

Excellence! With Bel Canto it was love at first hear. I love everything about them. Anneli also sings 2 songs on Jah Wobbles' cd "Invaders of the Heart" which are Amazing!
