"Twisted Thorns" is a 64 page printed fanzine devoted to The Rose Chronicles & Kristy Thirsk. The zine consist of rare existing interviews & tidbits from back in the day of RC & original interviews & info (with all 4 band members) done exclusively for the zine. Kristy talks about her upcoming LP.  This info won't be posted on the net. Sure to be a real treat for RC fans are the 7 never before RC photos from the "Shiver" photo shoot by photographer Hill Peppard. I even got a license from Hill to reprint them, but only in the zine. The zine features a lot of nice photos & screencaptures (from videos & RC live appearances) of the band & original artwork by my sister EKS.  Find out why Kristy wore a wedding dress while performing with RC & many more interesting things.

Also featured in the zine are exclusive/original interviews with related & non related music artists: Chemda, Rhys Fulber, Stevie Scott, David of Moontrees, Boca of My Head Radio, Justin Elswick AKA Sleepthief , DJ Mike Hiratzka & J.T James (Kristy Thirsk's brother).

It is really a fan of this type of music's dream.  Tons of photos, information & great tidbits.  Something I would love to find for myself.  Lucky for me your my sister so I get a free copy!!!

This is a well done and comprehensive take on Kristy Thirsk - a central figure for a lot of the artists we play on Auralgasms Radio and Aural Bliss.

You will find rare photos and interviews from her time with The Rose Chronicles and Delerium as well as her solo work and collaborations with other artists heard on Auralgasms like Sleepthief and Mike Hirtatzka.

Just wanted to let everyone know that everyone who purchased a copy of TWISTED THORNS was entered in a contest to win a free CONJURE ONE CD signed by Rhys Fulber.  The draw took place on Tuesday & Ralph was the lucky winner.

It isn't too late to pick up a copy of the first issue of TWISTED THORNS.  I also wanted to say that I am currently at work on the second issue of the zine, which will include more rare Hill Peppard photos of Kristy Thirsk & Rose Chronicles from the SHIVER photo shoot.  This issue will focus more on back in the day/time of RC!
