Every Sunday night 10-Midnight EST, Aural Bliss brings you 2 hrs of Dreampop, Britpop, Triphop, Shoegaze and Electronica.
On Sunday January 20, we began counting down the 50 Most Blissful Songs of 2007, as determined by....Zumby and Mikey of course.
If you missed the Jan 20, broadcast you can catch reruns Tuesday Jan 22 at 10PM EST and Friday Jan 25 at 3PM
We will continue the countdown with the top 23 on Sunday Jan 27 at 10PM EST.
Expect to hear tracks from Blonde Redhead, Fauxliage, Dave Gahan, Stars, Halou, Ruth Ann, Ether Aura, Flunk, Apollo Heights, Honeybreath and many more.
If you are new to the Bliss, this is a great opportunity to check out some of the lesser known artists we introduced in the past year.
As always, there is a live chat during the Sunday night broadcasts for you to meet other listeners and discuss the music.. Stop by and introduce yourself and help us grow this community! We need more knowledgeable music fans like you to support this show.
Auralgasms Radio

 Yourgasms is a Specialty show on Auralgasms Radio hosted by……YOU ! That's right…Auralgasms will make you the DJ for one night. Every Monday night from 10 – 11 pm EST, there will be a different guest DJ. This is your opportunity to share your favorites with the community.
- You may pick songs from the Auralgasms radio catalog for your
show.
- If you would like to play a song that we do not have, you can
submit it to the radio station. The song must come from a legitimate source (ie.
No bootlegs).
- Although you can play whatever you'd like, you are familiar
with Auralgasms.com, so try to make the show something that fits in with our
station. Auralgasms Radio specializes in dream pop, brit pop, shoegazing,
electronica, indie, singer-songwriters, and alternative classics (no rap, hard
rock, etc…). We play a mix of established alternative artists, and newcomers on
the scene that we feel deserve attention.
- The show should be 60 minutes long
- You should have a microphone so that you can record breaks for
the show. For an hour show, there should be anywhere between 4-6 breaks,
depending on how much you want to talk. The recordings should be a reasonable
quality, without a lot of static and hissing. It's usually possible to get a
good recording with a pretty cheap microphone.
- You must have FTP access so that you can send your breaks to
us. If you don't, we can possible make other arrangements.
- You can name your show if you'd like. It can be a themed show,
or just a collection of your favorite tracks.
- The Auralgasms chat room will be open during your show, so you
should do your best to get your friends and fans to join you.
- You should advertise on Myspace, LiveJournal, or any other
sites available to you to help get people to tune in for your show.
Past hosts have included some of our long time loyal listeners, those that had just discovered all that Auralgasms Radio has to offer and even some of our favorite Bliss artists, including Halou, Trespassers William, Sleepthief and Hungry Lucy. If you are interested in hosting your own show, please send an email to radio@auralgasms.com and let us know what type of show you have in mind. It can be a Themed-show or just a collection of your favorite tunes.
