Krist just posted another new blog entry yesterday February 29th 2008. She wants me to keep all her fans updated on her blogs so I'm going to post it here:
"Hi lovely people...
I swear I thought I wrote something here last time I was in L.A. in January...but it looks like I didn't. Anyhow, just wanted to keep ya'll updated. That's my tribute to Brit Brit....."ya'll". Don't worry, you can't hear my fake english accent over this blog..so it won't be too annoying.
So, the latest is....I need to get drums done on a few songs, a couple cello tracks, finish up one more new song(vocals) and then we are ready to mix. Actually , as soon as I get some publishing advance cash we'll probably go ahead and start approaching some mixers. I'm hoping to have something new for you all to hear by May/June. I am trying to get something put together, whether it be an EP or remixes....but something for you all to pick up on the upcoming Delerium tour in June. I know , I know, this news about the tour is constantly changing, but I think it really is happening now as our plane tickets (for Europe) are in the process of being bought and the U.S. leg will of course be by bus.
As soon as anything is confirmed, I or someone like me will post them here.
On another note ...I received a call from an old industry contact who wants me to help produce vocals for a really young band (like 14 yr olds) in the next couple weeks. I'm looking forward to it. I have produced a lot of my own stuff, but never yet for anyone else...so this should be fun. I'm going to NY to do this....does anyone know if it's still freakin cold there , or what? I need to know what to pack.
Ok, so that's my boring little update. Hope you liked it anyway. If I think of anything else you know you'll hear from me eventually.
