Any chance that the new studio album won't be as utterly disappointing as the last one? :P

I count "Bloodflowers" among the best of Robert's output, but that self-titled LP from a few years back was pretty bland. It was almost like The Cure Cliff Notes; my friend suggested that if anyone ever asked you "What does The Cure sound like?", you could give them that record and they'd have a general idea. Which is maybe not the kind of album you want to be putting out over 20 years into your career.
