I think it would cool if you added Siobhan Fahey (ex-Bananarama and
Shakespeare's Sister ) to your list, her stuff is great. I think it would mix in well on your playlist. She is just about to release her solo debut and
in Nov. released the third SS album (after a few years of fighting with
London Records for the rights to the songs. She got them and has released "#3". Check it out if you can. The Best of Compilation is also great. Siobhan's music has an electro glam sound to and she also has some really nice acoustic type songs. Think about it and check out her
    site....WWW.SIOBHANFAHEY.COM

Oh yeah!....You definitely need more songs by SING-SING. "I'll Be" is cool
but they have so much more cool music.

Hey - I'm a noob, but that's not going to stop me! :)

I'd love to hear music from Rookie of the Year, The Spill Canvas and This Day and Age. They're all on 111 Records (www.111records.com) and I saw Spill Canvas and This Day and Age last fall and loved them. I think there are a few downloads available on their website.

This Day and Age are re-releasing their first CD this spring, it's called "Always Leave the Ground" and I'd tell anyone to go check it out!

I'd like to hear some Milla, especially the song Gentleman Who Fell. And more Dead Can Dance never hurts.

You already have a few James Blunt tracks but would love to see Wise Men on the playlist ... Every track on the Back to Bedlam album is brilliant ... this artiste is relatively new in the UK but is gonna be very BIG. The video of Wise Men can be seen at http://www.jamesblunt.co.uk/video.html

Re: Your chance to influence the playlist

Already spoilt for choice really so thank you for that, but another artiste I would LOVE to see on the playlist is Turin Brakes - a really excellent duo. I think their latest album is Jackinabox and have only heard 'Fishing For A Dream' which is so good. Otherwise some other fave tracks from earlier albums are Feeling Oblivion, Mind Over Money and State of Things from The Optimist album or Long Distance and Pain Killer from their Ether Song album.

Re: Your chance to influence the playlist

Hi everyone, I'm brand new here. I stumbled upon this place quite by accident but I'm glad I did. This will give me a chance to explore a lot of music I've never heard before. I'm mostly a hard rock and metal fan, but I'm also into stuff like Delerium, Balligomingo, Conjure One, Hooverphonic, etc. I may have some suggestions in the future, but for now I think I'll just hang out and get a feel for what's popular around here.

Re: Your chance to influence the playlist

Thank you for your great playlist. Hearing songs like Moev's "In and Out," Ian McCulloch's "Lover, Lover" plus great new modern-day counterparts like Blue States' "Across the Wire" and Stills' "Changes Are No Good," all in one week is so good. The former CFNY 102.1 FM from Toronto, Canada introduced me to this style of music during my degree, but in the mid 1990s, they sold out and went to a commercially-oriented playlist, abandoning good music for essentially grungy, disgusting-lyric hard rock. Thanks again; it's so good to hear uplifting music again!

Here are my recommendations for the best Canadian ones to add, to your "Alternative Legends" in the playlist:

    -Spoons "Nova Heart"
-Pukka Orchestra "Listen to the Radio"
    -Breeding Ground "Reunion"
-Volumes 1 through 4 of "Hardest Hits," a collection of rare, extended-mix alternative hits put out by the SPG record label in Canada

    Thank you,
    listener 1, USA

I thought for sure that I would see some Black Box Recorder here. "Goodnight Kiss" is a great track!
