Kelli Ali had been best known for her work on The Sneaker Pimps debut
album Becoming X. She broke out on her own in a major way with her
stunning debut, Tigermouth. The follow up record, Psychic Cat is
somewhat of a departure. Kelli has moved away from the trip-hop techno vibe, in favor of a more rock n’ roll outlook.

Tracks like Psychic Cat and Hot Lips seem to best highlight her new direction. Although, the strongest track on the album is Home Honey I’m High (the most reminiscent of Tigermouth).
