One of my favorite artists. Great songwriter, wonderful singer, and a charming performer. He's outstanding Live! Everyone should experience Howie.

I really like his voice and he sings with a lot of emotion. his combination of alternative and folk is nice. a good album to relax to and enjoy.

Howie has the most emotionally raw voice I have ever heard. Not only is his music unique, his lyrics are unforgetable. Definitely buy Austrailia, but also try downloading his live stuff...especially the Toto cover "Africa."

Howie Day will be big. You've been warned, so get into it now. Don't regret not hearing him in his early days. He is an amazing artist, and I feel bad for those who have not been exposed to a live show of his. Australia is an awesome album, and worth every penny. I don't know what else to say, Howie is an artist that will be loved and admired for the rest of his musical life, which won't be ending anytime soon, it's only the beginning.

While Australia is allright, the live Howie experience is where it's at. Try downloading some live stuff, or checking him out at any of his shows- I promise you that you won't be disapointed.

Howie is for sure one of my favorite musicians. He's just got so much tallent for someone so young. Definitely worth a listen, you will not be disappointed.

I take a listen to most every band that makes it's way to this site, and it always amazes me that no one ever gets tired of a dude strumming an acoustic guitar while singing a mediocre song. It was not a difficult listen to, but particularly unexciting from an arrangement standpoint, both in terms of instrumentation and form.

If you haven't checked him out live, be sure to! He gets better every time and soon will be so big that you won't be able to see him in small venues.
