Now Portland, Maine always make me think of Stephen King and that book and movie of The Shawshank Redemption. I was hoping and dreaming that Asobi Seksu would perform in Portland, Oregon. In Portland, Oregon there is the finest Japanese Gardens in the United States and it would be extremely cool to see them perform there. It would be so feng sui (not sure if I spelled that correctly) There use to be an entire "Japan Town" in Portland, Oregon but unfortunately it was destroyed when World War II broke out and the U.S. Japanese citizens were forced out of their homes to a horrific internment camp in Idaho. What a sad chapter in U.S. History But enough of reflecting on the sad topics. It is back to Asobi Seksu, performing in Portland, Maine. The people in Maine will have more to talk about then the lobster harvest. Soon they will be blessed with musical nectar. Now when the people of Maine get to see Yuki and company peform they will be in for a visual treat as well. Someone told me that the name Yuki in Japanese means "snow". If this is true, then the people of Maine will be able to testify to this simple truth: NEVER HAS SNOW, LOOKED SO HOT!!!
