Dot Allison really created a beautiful, lush, hypnotic album with her debut cd but WE ARE SCIENCE hugely dissapointed me. The album is overly produced and her once sensual vocals are WAY oversynthesized and computer enhanced. I like some of the 80's electro pop stylings but the lack of her vocals on most of the tracks really hurts the overall feel of the album. I don't reccomend the cd for anyone looking for Dot Allison's vocals because this cd really lacks in that area.
