    deja vu?

There is something that keeps me from buying these bands of today.. i.e. B.R.M.C. , Raveonettes, Strokes, The Libertines, etc... & that is although it is good to show influences these bands can go that one step further & be complete sound-a-likes. When listening to B.R.M.C. for the first time I had the constant feeling that I had been here before. To many times I was thinking that it sounded just like Jesus & Marychain. I know the comparison has been done to death, but it is unavoidable when they make it so obvious.

Believe me I would rather the kids of today listen to them, than all the horrible music in the charts today like boybands, Pop Idol/American Idol, Avril Lavine & all the cheesy pop, but for someone like me...i'll stick to the real thing.
