I discovered Azure Ray a few years ago when I heard there song DISPLACED on an episode of Felicity. I instantly bought there self titled album and fell head over heels in love with them! The music they create is so lush and beautiful. It's reminiscent of a more hushed Mazzy Star. The songs are all extremely gorgeous and melodic. you could sit for hours listening to them without ever wanting to skip a track or turn it off. They are the perfect cd for a relaxing day alone. The new album HOLD ON LOVE is even more incredible than the debut! I think anyone who is a fan of laid back, harmonized vocals filled with sadness, happiness and pain would truly appreciate this bands music.

I heard of Azure Ray for the first time on Auralgasms.com, on the first compilation CD released. I recently bought Hold On Love at my local cd store. I can't rave about this one enough. It's so smooth, sexy, sweet. They have just the best sound. So relaxing. It's best heard with headphones, in my opinion. Thanks to auralgasms.com for introducing it to me!
