    Scarling: So Long Scarecrow

Recently picked up this shoegazing jem. Scarling features former vocalist, Jessicka of the group Jack Off Jill. Her voice-stylings have grown by leaps and bounds since then. Gone are the shredding/screaming vox replaced with a much more ethereal/dreamy delivery. The guitar-work is very comparable to the Detroit-area's very own Ether Aura ( who I also highly reccomend checking out ) Good stuff that you really should be listening to.

i definitely loved this album. the ep was more curve lite but the lp is so beautiful, it almost reminded me of my bloody valentine, definitely strucky a chord with me. i also was reminded of lush, although the girl's delivery is more sexualized than miki's. love it.
    it took an hour
    maybe a day
but once i really listened the noise
    just fell away

Hi - I loved the EP that Scarling but out long ago, but still haven't picked up their full-length.  My concern is that the tunes themselves might not be that catchy or memorable - and fade away from thought after listening to the So Long Scarecrow album.

What do you think?  Do they still do that glorious swirling stew of guitar sounds like on the EP?
