Auralgasms has posted two recent interviews with artists on the rise.

Britpop band Aqualung released their new CD, Memory Man on Mar 13. They are out on the road now supporting the record thru headline dates as well as supporting Pete Yorn.

Frontman Matt Hales chatted with Auralgasms about the new record as well as his past successes and future endeavors.

San Francisco-based electronica/trip-hop band Karmacoda recently sat down with writer and radio talk show host Tony DuShane to talk about the band, their amazing new CD Illuminate (released in March) and the making of the video for the albums first single, Turn.

Auralgasms' 3rd Compilation CD

Auralgasms is extremely pleased to announce the upcoming release of our 3rd Compilation CD, Breath Of Stars. The CD will be available in April on Auralgasms.com

We have once again compiled tracks from some of our favorite new artists and rising stars over the last year, including Ether Aura (featuring former Aural Bliss host DJ K8), former Lamb vocalist Lou Rhodes, Costanza (vocalist on Tricky's Vulnerable CD), Aural Bliss favorites The Daysleepers and Sleepthief, and the long-awaited return of Darkwave legends, Moev.

Save Internet Radio!

On March 2nd, the Copyright Royalty Board decided to substantially increase royalty rates for internet radio stations based on recommendations from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). These rates are so high, that they will put most internet radio stations out of business, or force them to play so many commercials that your listening experience will be ruined. The rates will even be a burden to big broadcasters like Yahoo, AOL Music and Pandora.

Please take the time to visit www.savenetradio.org where you can learn what YOU can do to save internet radio. You can sign an online petition, or write a letter to your congressman. These recent rulings are being fought and we believe that if everyone speaks, internet radio can remain a viable option for your listening needs.

Yourgasms

Yourgasms is where YOU, the general public, gets to be the DJ for an hour. You make the playlists. You record the voice-over breaks. You host the online chat. This is your chance to share your favorites with the rest of the community.

We have some exciting guest slots lined up already for the Month of April.

On Mon April 2, Buffalo-based Shoegaze bands The Daysleepers and Tearwave will combine for an hour of fuzzed-out blissful goodies. Be sure to join us in the chatroom to meet both bands, as well as Zumby, Mikey and the rest of the Auralgasms Radio listeners.

Also slated for April, Liquidvisions and Lee Runchey, owner of mid 90-s Detroit Goth Club Ascenion UK. Lee will be playing some favorites from the three year run of the club.
