Was their a better recent debut, than
Howie Day’s,
Australia? Howie unfortunately got lost in the wake of
John Mayer’s success right at the same time. It’s time to atone (although
John Mayer’s sophomore effort was just released).
Stop All The World Now is much more polished than Australia and shows his growth as a musician and songwriter. The
U2-esque, Perfect Time Of Day and
Collide are but two of the many standout tracks. A couple of old tunes return in a re-done fashion;

You & A Promise (

Howie is out on tour through mid-November with support from Charlotte Martin and Jump Little Children. If the amount of younger fans at his shows are any evidence, Howie is poised for a BIG breakthrough. Does that mean we have to not like him when he is a mega star? :)
